Toolbar Overview

There are three rows of toolbars:


 
Cut: Copies selected text and templates into the clipboard and then deletes them from the screen.
Copy: Copies selected text and templates into the clipboard.
Paste: Pastes text and templates from the clipboard.
Bold: When pressed causes new and selected text to become bold.
Italic: When pressed causes new and selected text to become italic.
Underline: When pressed causes new and selected text to become underlined.
Font: Displays the font dialog box.  Here you can change the font name, font size, and font color.
Symbols: Displays the Symbols dialog box.  Here you can choose a symbol to insert.

Equation templates provide the formatting to create most types of equations.  A template includes one or more edit boxes (blue boxes) where text or other templates can be inserted. 

Table: Inserts a table. before the table is inserted the Table Properties dialog box is displayed.

The symbol toolbar contains commonly used symbols.  More symbols can be selected by pressing the Symbols button on the top toolbar.
