Working with Objects

 

 

Insert an object into your project

Note: You can also insert an object by:

Selecting the object from the drop down menu on the toolbar, or

Right-click somewhere within the current page and point to Insert, then  select the object.

Note: To deselect an object click elsewhere on composer screen and the red selection box will disappear.

 

To edit an object that already exists in your project

Note:  To restore the object to its original size,  From Edit menu, select Restore Defaults.

 

Change object Background to Opaque

You can also change background to Opaque by right-clicking and selecting  Opaque Background.


If an object background has been set to Opaque, a check will appear next to Opaque Background in the Edit menu.

 

Align objects

The alignment settings can be changed by selecting Page Setup from the File menu.  The default grid size is .62cm (1/4 inch).

You can also set your object to align to the grid by right-clicking and selecting  Aligned

 

If an object is aligned to the grid, a check will appear next to Aligned in the Edit menu.

 

Copy or Cut an object

Notes: You can also copy a selected object by right-clicking and selecting  Copy or Cut

Copied objects can be pasted into any open project in Math Composer on any page. It can also be pasted into documents created in other programs, such as word processing programs.

Note: You can also delete a selected object by right-clicking and selecting Delete.
